"I think human consciousness was a tragic misstep in evolution. We became too self-aware, nature created an aspect of nature separate from itself. We are creatures that should not exist by natural law. We are things that labor under the illusion of having a self, this accretion of sensory experience and feeling, programmed with total assurance that we are each somebody. When, in fact, everybody’s nobody."
— Rust Cohle dalam True Detective
"The only way to get through life is to laugh your way through it. You either have to laugh or cry. I prefer to laugh. Crying gives me a headache."
— ― Marjorie Pay Hinckley (via psych-quotes)
"“I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says “Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again."

There are different ways to grow
As a child
We can acknowledge what our issue is
Training ourselves to overcome it
Like practicing to focus on instructions by building Lego sets
Or we can develop our strengths
To deal with it
Like an avid reader, focusing when engrossed in a plot
But looking at it closely
That not being able to focus on a task
Came with the child having a lively imagination
Every child and person is unique
The good comes with the bad
The strength cannot come alive without the weakness
If the balance is accepted
Is there anything to overcome?
It is about choosing
And accepting the consequences of that choice
The yin with the yang
And you have a human being
